Tournament rules
Bans
Sol Ring is not allowed.
Other than that: Normal Commander ban list.
50€ Budget
Based on Moxfield.
Moxfield → Change Price Settings → Set Cardmarket as Top Affiliate → Back to Deck → More → Update to Cheapest.
Settings → Decks → Uncheck “Include all lands in the price of decks.”
The price of the deck on Moxfield applies, regardless of whether it would be possible to get the cards cheaper. Be careful not to accidentally have cards in the sideboard.
The answer to all questions regarding the budget is: As Moxfield handles it.
Some cards do not have a price on Moxfield. Please enter this manually in the description of the deck.
In rare cases, the price of a card may be displayed incorrectly. Small fluctuations are okay (<1€), but please correct larger ones manually.
Submission of Decklists
Deck lists must be submitted as a Moxfield link no later than 3 days before the tournament (September 4, 8 p.m.). After that, they may no longer be modified and are publicly accessible.
Cost fluctuations after successful submission will be ignored.
Delays will be penalized with a reduction of 1 opponent score per hour or part thereof. Delays of more than 12 hours will result in exclusion from the tournament without refund of the participation fee.
Please submit lists exclusively by email to beaverbaumi@gmail.com.
Format
The brackets are set up following the “social golfer problem”. The aim is for everyone to play against as many different players as possible, and for everyone to play against each individual player as infrequently as possible.
The exact bracket will be randomly determined and published shortly before the start of the tournament (1-2 hours beforehand).
3 rounds for points.
Points distribution:
Win: 3 points.
Loss: 0 points.
Draw: 1 point.
The winner of a completed game receives a victory. In such a game, all players except the winner receive a loss.
All games that are not completed within the time limit are considered draws. In this case, all players receive one point, regardless of other factors.
The 4 players with the most points play in the final.
Tiebreaker for qualifying for the final: Opponent Score, then better deck, then rock-paper-scissors.
The winner of the final wins the tournament.
Time limit: 75 minutes for the game and then overtime.
After 75 minutes, the game goes into overtime.
In overtime, the current turn is completed, and then each player who had one turn less than the starting player gets one more turn. Please note the starting player.
Example: Player A starts the game. Turn order: A → B → C → D. The game reaches the 75-minute time limit during Player C's turn. Player C is then allowed to finish their turn, and Player D gets a full turn. Then the game is over. Players A and B do not get another turn because they both had the same number of turns as the starting player.
If possible, the final is played without a time limit.
Players may only concede the game during their own turn with sorcery speed.
Prizes
All boosters are boosters from the last regular set.
1 booster pack for winning a game in the first 3 rounds.
If not every game has a winner, the remaining booster packs go to the players who are highest ranked at the end of the tournament but have not yet received a booster pack.
1 booster pack for each finalist.
€20 store credit at Deck, Dice & Dungeons for the winner.

Additional information
If we receive an unfavorable number of registrations (e.g., 21, 25, 29, etc.), I may have to turn someone down.
In this case, I will refund the registration fee.
If the entire tournament has to be canceled for any reason, I will refund all registration fees.
Proxies are allowed, but every element of the card must be clearly recognizable.
Example: Black-and-white printed proxies are not allowed because the color of the card is not clearly recognizable.
“Taking back” goes against the spirit of a tournament. We live with our mistakes. Of course, please still behave in a civil manner.
Please arrive on time.
